CHURCH AT HOME
Discipleship Happens at Home!
We are not against the prevailing church model, but we realize that many times we spent more time putting on a Sunday ‘Event’ than we spend on the ‘Main Thing’ or actual mission of the church…Making Disciples. The goal of Church at Home is to specifically break the church down to it’s most important activity being front and center. Putting believers in direct contact with younger believers and even unchurched folks so that we can make disciples, both in the meeting time and outside the meeting time in one-on-one relationship
Disciples Serve Others!
All of our home groups should be developing disciples. If we are doing that right, we should have a natural desire to serve God and others. Our home groups will schedule weekly times of service. Many opportunities present themselves through our connected Compassionate Ministry Center, Mission ABQ, but there are also other ways Church at Home members can serve their community.
Worshipping together with the
Family of God!
While the core of Church at Home is small home discipleship groups, there is nothing quite like worshipping together as the Family of God. So, monthly, our churches will come together to worship as the larger family of God!
