The Sandia Church of the Nazarene is a multi-site ministry with multiple Parent Affiliated Congregations (PAC).  In preparation for our continued efforts in planting congregations across Albuquerque and the surrounding areas, we hold periodic trainings in partnership with Dynamic Church Planting International (DCPI) at our Mission Training Center.

Invitation

DCPI is a non-denominational organization committed to equipping leaders to plant churches.  Find out more about DCPI at www.dcpi.org.  Training modules include Churches Planting Churches (CPC), Church Planting Essentials (CPE), Church Planting Movements (CPM), New Church Dynamics (NCD), Mentoring Church Planters (MCP), and a module for training new trainers, entitled Certified Trainer (CT).  The Sandia Church of the Nazarene Mission Training Center currently has trainers certified to train 4 of these modules.  Although we hold training events as a way to assist in the fulfillment of the mission of our local church and that of the New Mexico District Church of the Nazarene, other members of our own denomination, and anyone else who might feel the call of God on their life to see people come to know Christ through the planting of new churches are welcome!  

Nazarene Church Planting

The Church of the Nazarene has partnered with DCPI in an earnest desire to see a church planting movement develop in the USA/Canada.  Each of us can trace our journey of faith to the ministry of a church plant because every church began as a vision in the heart of a believer or group of believers for a church that did not yet exist, but would lead people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ in and unserved or under served population.  DCPI Trainings in the Church of the Nazarene are having a significant impact on our denomination and leading us to dream again about how God may use us to establish new churches that lead people to the saving and transforming love of Jesus Christ.

Cost

DCPI's vision mandates that we not charge for the materials involved in this training.  Trainers are not paid to provide the training beyond reimbursement of travel and lodging costs that may be incurred.  Therefore, there is only a nominal charge of $35 that will be collected at registration for meals that will be provided during the training days.
